White Rabbit Tarot

White Rabbit Tarot is the social media face of my passion to empower / teach people how to read Tarot for their own personal growth. (The white rabbit in question is Beef, my sweet baby angel bun who can do no wrong (pictured at right.))

I have 30+ years experience reading tarot, and during those years I've collected, worked with, and re-homed at least 100 Tarot and Oracle decks. Like most people, I relied on the little white book in the beginning, but I've developed a way of reading that ignores the 'traditional' meanings of the cards and instead lies in the basis of what resonates with me, what my own understanding of the image tells me. This method works for me, and I feel like it's my calling to teach other people how to improve their lives through regular interaction with Tarot or Oracle cards.

Tarot and Oracle cards have been incredibly valuable on my journey of personal growth and development, acting as both a springboard for fresh perspectives and a catalyst for deep introspection. I find that Tarot works with/alongside many other means of self-improvement/personal growth, and adds a new dimension to each of them.

I've also been a writer for a LOT of years, and Tarot/Oracle cards have given me countless ideas, plot twists, characters, tropes, and inspiration. How many? SO many. I'm willing to bet that creatives of all flavors could benefit from learning about Tarot and Oracle cards. Do you play D&D or other tabletop roleplaying games? Tarot can give you characters, backstories, goals, even adventure hooks. Artist? Re-envision the cards, sketch what might be happening "off-stage," draw what happens when two cards collide. There are so many ways to use Tarot and Oracle cards - and I'm probably going to talk about all of them at some point.

Yes, historically Tarot and Oracle cards have been seen as divination tools, and they are perfectly good at that. I use them for that as well - drawing a card or two to see what energies are on the horizon, or what I can bring to a situation that would result in the best outcome. That's actually the focus of WhiteRabbitTarot on all the social medias: drawing a card on Friday to forecast the upcoming week - breaking down the symbology of that single card from three different decks (over the course of 3 days) to teach you (very sneakily) how to do it for yourself, how to build your own vocabulary and language with your own deck so you can use it to further your own personal path.
